About Dr. Thompson
Michael Thompson, Ph.D. is a consultant, best-selling author, and psychologist specializing in children and families. He has authored nine books and leads workshops for teachers, administrators, parents, and students throughout the United States and internationally on the subjects of children, schools, and parenting. Dr. Thompson has appeared on “The Today Show,” “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, and “60 Minutes,” has been quoted in major newspapers and magazines, and has been featured on National Public Radio. In 2006, he wrote and hosted the PBS documentary “Raising Cain.”
