Saturday, September 21, 2013: Work Out / Night Out

By on August 26, 2013

Help the Melrose Education Foundation start the year strong: Work Out/Night Out offers you two ways to support the Foundation with a morning workout for the whole family with Melrose Boot Camp and an evening kick-off party at the Beebe Estate.

Work out with Melrose Boot Camp – for the whole family!

  • At the Knoll field (across from Middle School; near dog park)
  • Saturday, September 21, 8:00 am
  • Tickets: $10/person or $25 for the whole family. Please bring cash or check (day-of) made payable to Melrose Education Foundation.

About this fundraiser: Get fit with fun and simple exercises for all ages! Join other Foundation supporters for a family workout with Joy Fay, owner of Melrose Boot Camp. Joy will get our hearts pumping while showing us simple ways to get a great workout anywhere, anytime, using minimal equipment. Bring the kids, get in shape, have fun! Workout attire and water bottles recommended.

Night Out Kick-Off Party at the Beebe Estate

  • 235 West Foster Street, Melrose
  • Saturday, September 21, 7:00 pm
  • Tickets: $25 per person. We have sold out of advance tickets for this event! If you are still interested in attending, please contact us at info@oldsite.melroseedfoundation.org.

About this fundraiser: Meet Melrose Education Foundation board members and supporters. Hear from educators and city and school leaders about the impact a strong education foundation can have on our students. Speakers include Mayor Rob Dolan, Superintendent of Schools Cindy Taymore, Social Studies Department Chair Bryan Corrigan, and Foreign Language Department Chair Kim Talbot.

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, wine, and music in the parlors of this beautiful, 185-year-old Greek Revival-style mansion. There will be a cash bar.
