Over 650 students in grades K-5 participated in Citywide science fairs at all five Melrose Elementary schools this winter.  Students used the scientific method to test their own hypotheses about the weather, food, plants, animals and many other topics.  Students, in teams and individually, shared their results with their fellow students, educators, parents and caregivers, and dozens of judges from the community who volunteered their time.
